Our History

The Eastside Veterinary Hospital was founded in July of 2002 by Dr. William Geiler. Our goals then and now have always been to provide quality veterinary care to as wide a variety of animals as we can, and to help our clients make informed choices regarding the care of their animal companions.

This has always been especially important because people keep more than just dogs and cats as pets, yet relatively few veterinarians treat more than dogs and cats.

Beginning in a small facility—with one exam room, a very small surgery room and one employee—we began offering veterinary medical and surgical care for animals like birds, non-venomous reptiles, ferrets, rabbits and other small mammals, as well as dogs and cats.

In 2009, we moved to a larger facility and enlarged our staff to provide care for our growing number of clients and patients. We grew to three exam rooms, a larger surgery room, a procedures room and treatment area.

In 2019 we moved once more, this time to a permanent free standing facility with six exam rooms, two surgery rooms, a large treatment area and more, all in a brand new building.

Over the next few years we hope to expand our staff and add new equipment to do even more for our patients. Although we can’t do everything for every animal, our goal is to do as much as we can for as many as we can.

We appreciate your patronage and recommending us to friends and neighbors.
